My name is John and I'm a cartoonist

And I haven't drawn a cartoon for seven months and four days :-\

I'm still a little bit stuck on the writing. Just can't seem to make it funny enough.

See for yourself:

I am working on it, though, and I'm expecting a breakthrough this weekend.

Apart from that, I'm British (Welsh actually), married with four children, a grandson, four chickens, two cats and a five-string banjo. I'm also a big Doctor Who fan.

Just noticed the writing thread, so I'm heading on over there.

Welcome Jonjo. I'm a big Susan Cooper (The Dark is Rising series) fan from when I was a kid and one of the books in the series "The Grey King" takes place in Wales and she made the place sound magical. I've been around the world but never to Wales. In my mind I have always imagined it a very beautiful, rural place.

I hope you work through your writers block. If there is anything I can do please let me know. Writing is my "especiality."  :P

I hope you find your time here fruitful.  ;D
