Hi, I'm Kyle. Sometimes I Try To Draw

Ooh, a new forum. Shiny! Hi, I'm Kyle. I write and draw The Water Phoenix King. It's a long-form fantasy comic, so I'm always looking to learn more on how to popularize it, since a lot of webcomic advice is predicated on popularizing newspaper strip-style comics. I've been working on comics for about three years and I'm still suffering my way through the basics of perspective.

Ooooh a Platinum Studios member. Welcome.

I don't know what you can and can't say in regard to your relationship with PS but I'd love to read an article from you on what it's like to be part of a Webcomics collective like that.

Welcome and thanks for joining. I hope you find this place useful. ;)

Wait, Platinum What? I think you have me confused for someone else--I'm just a regular DrunkDuck person (for a little while yet; I'm setting up my own website, after some help from the ComicPress guys). The closest I get to Platinum Studios is following DJ Coffman on Twitter.

Uh... Drunk Duck is owned by Platinum Studios.... that's why there is a Platinum Studios Logo right at the top of your page above the Drunk Duck logo.

And DJ drew Hero by Night as part of Drunk Duck

Which (I"m 99% sure) is part of Platinum Studios.

And DJ doesn't work with Platinum Studios anymore. He runs his own site:

http://www.yirmumah.com/

He had a bit of a falling out with them. But I'm surprised you don't know all this.
