Hellooo peoples! :P

I saw your wonderful community and thought I would pop my head in and say hi.

My name is Valerie and I....am a Webcomic Creators!

Doesn't that feel so good to say? I swear it is what gets through each day. I just stop what I'm fussing with and remember what all the stress and sleepless nights are for. Webcomics!!! ^_^

I tend to be a chatty kathy, so I shall try to keep under 499 pages. 'kay?

I absolutely love anime! I'm obsessed with DBZ, Sailor Moon Crystal, High School DxD, and Himouto Umaru Chan R!

I also love to draw, and I am getting better at it. However, when my muse plopped herself into my lap I wasn't ready to unveil my killer art skillz onto the world. So, I hired miss Nano to help me realize me vision.

I hope I can learn from and grow with you peeps. I'm also excited to hear about your projects. So, don't feel bashful about sending me a linkee poo! :P

Thanks for reading, and have a great week,

Valerie Valencia

Writing / Wanted: COLLAB-WRITER! This could be you!
« Last post by RedQueen on November 19, 2017, 09:43:58 PM »
I'm a webcomic creator (artist&author: IVA) that needs a co-writer for my comic Sakura Day.

Sorry, not sorry, there's no financial rewards to gain from here. What I can give is my friendship, the experience, something to add to your portfolio or lists of achievements (challenge yourself, hey!), and of course part-authorship of my baby-webcomic, Sakura Day.

The Webcomic
Sakura Day is about our heroine Meija and her adventures in Lala dorm. and its members. After meeting an almost fatal accident, she's inexplicably transported back to the living. But she doesn't know where she is, only that she's in a house of strangers. She is soon taken under their wing as a member and she gets involved with all the crazy adventures of Lala dorm. Fantasy, adventure, escapism, surrealism, and a dash of romance.

Initially, it's supposed to be experimental (still is) and episodic. But then it followed a story arc that I've planned years ago. Here's the link to Sakura Day in smackjeeves.com (http://sakuraday4s.smackjeeves.com/) to give a taste&feel and some preliminary info.
Weak pitch, right? Some weak points too, I know. That's why I need YOU!

Requirements:
What I want AND need is a creative co-writer who...
  • has fresh, new ideas that can help me give blood and bones to my characters and the story itself
  • isn't too meek to give me ideas and critique
  • is available online (outside or inside this forum) to have lengthy discussions with me about structuring and writing about my...our story
  • has definite experience with writing
  • likes and writes under the genres of fantasy, escapism, slipstream, and surrealism
  • can take advantage of loopholes/plotholes
  • can give me good and creative advice in managing the webcomic
  • wants to share their experience and message with the world through the story in comic form
  • can be an all-around good friend in general
  • preferably:
    • likes cult classic movies from the 80s & 90s
    • a music-genre enthusiasts who's open to all kinds of music
    • influenced by shoujou manga and western story-telling
    • can also draw, if not digitally
    • (the above sub-bullets are optional if you don't think it's not essential to the story. But if you're not one of those, don't sweat it's not personal, just preference.)

If interested or if you have any questions, email me (iva.ex.1@gamil.com) or pm me.

Please consider my offer.
Because who knows...
we could be venturing into something great!

Good day!

Hi y'all! New here, obviously.

To keep it short and simple: i'm a webcomic artist/author of a humble comic called Sakura Day. I joined this community to garner some help and advice on a little problem about my webcomic. Plainly speaking, I am considering of collaborating with a co-writer for my baby, because it seems i'm keep getting into knots with the story.

What I can offer interested and potential collab-writers would only be my deepest gratitude, friendship, a new and interesting project-baby to nurture and groom, and part-authorship of my baby comic, Skaura Day.

If anyone is interested, please e-mail me (iva.ex.1@gmail.com) or just pm me so that I can share more info on the comic. Here is my webcomic Sakura Day hosted in smackjeeves.com (http://sakuraday4s.smackjeeves.com/) for preliminary info. (Please don't be afraid, critique will also be most helpful.)

If interested, please pm or email me.
Thank you for reading.

Good day!

Introduce Yourself! / Behold, a New User!
« Last post by TheHiddenElephant on October 22, 2017, 12:39:22 PM »
Greetings, all.  I am the Hidden Elephant.  In case you hadn't surmised it yet, I am in fact a new member of this here forum.

I, like so many others, am creating a webcomic.  Hopefully, that won't be Past Tense for quite a while.
Said webcomic is called, "The Wide Ocean".  It is a fantasy with Arabian and Polynesian stylings, yet begins with a shipwreck and starts what can only be called a journey.  I have it hosted on deviantArt, and I update it Tuesdays and Fridays.  Thus far, it is only 17 pages.
