The Help Gar Pay the Rent Initiative

My girlfriend and I broke up last month. Emotionally I'm doing fine, but I haven't found a new roommate yet and can't afford the rent for my apartment on my own (and if I move out I lose my security deposit, and I can't afford that either). To help cover the shortfall until I find a new roommate, I've launched a donation drive on my site.

The donation incentive is the 'special effects budget' for one of the series I'm running. Basically if I don't have to work overtime and weekends to cover the rent, that's more time that can go into drawing more elaborate sets and costumes. I'm not holding the comic to ransom, it just means I'll do more time-consuming artwork if I can afford to take the time to do it.

Anyway, I'd really appreciate it if you could link the page from your blogs or facebook pages or something. I'm really proud of Neko the Kitty Comics, but it doesn't pay the rent, and right now I kind of need it to, so anything you could do to help spread the word would be great.

Thanks Chadm1n. I've got some people coming over to look at the apartment this evening, and so far the Initiative's raised about 130 Euro. Not sure how big the social media uptake has been for it, but that's already a lot of overtime I don't have to do and therefore more time I can spend drawing :D
