Hey guys.

As you may have read somewhere around here we are looking to do Bi-weekly interviews with people involved in webcomics for the site. So far Amanda has been the only volunteer to conduct interviews so if anyone else is interested PM me.

Anyway, our first interview is going to go up on Tuesday. It's a good one and a long one. Chris Crosby of Keenspot and member here on the forum agreed to answer all of our questions and I think the interview that results is almost, almost a definitive commentary on the man (and if you add it to the info he has already shared with us here as a member a very interesting picture emerges).

It occurred to me tonight that the interview feature has neither a name nor a graphic to accompany it.

Now the name I can handle. We'll call it "Webcomics Community Spotlight."

But as you all know, I'm no artist. So I'm going to need some help with the graphic.

I was thinking that all three words in WebcOmics COmmunity SpOtlight have "O's" in them and that it would be cool to have some text with those spotlight lights incorporated into the design where the o's are.

But that's just a thought. I'm open to suggestions and I'm looking for a volunteer with the art chops to make this work.

Anyone?

I'm going to need to shrink it down significantly because it's ginormous but other than that it's great.

Thanks Gar. Much appreciated.  ;)

Gar

Well I have it saved as a .PSD with a vector layer for the line art, I can shrink it down easy enough, what size do you need?

My guess is he means more that he needs a banner than a full on square.

D'oh!

A banner probably would have been preferable but I can make this work. It's pretty good and worth the effort. I just have to shrink it down so that I can add text next to it without it looking too awkward.

I'll gladly do some interviews. ^^
