Hello fellow Art people!....

Another attempt to pick at some of the Gurus minds..if they can spare some time....
My main comic will be in black and white, solely to succeed to update weekly...

should the "about the story" ...or "the cast" sections be in black and white or can I go color for some fun???
Just wondering since I've chosen a style for efficiency other than artistic output..I want to enjoy this but I also want it to be not too nutty and alienate future readers!  :\

Any thoughts on that?

Thanks all!

Rob

I say if you are going to go black and white you should go all black and white. Especially in your ads because readers sometimes feel misled if they follow a color ad to a black and white comic.

I do agree with being consistent across all areas. However, there should at least be one way to see them in color in the case of fanarts and stuff (I once had to ask someone for a color scheme since I work mainly in color).

Thanks Rob & Dr.BlkKnight,

Makes sense...Ads in black and white to be consistent with the comic and color in one of the menus for reader to get an idea how they look like ...good..you solved a dilemma or two  for me! :)

I did a thing for a while where everything was black and white except for people's eyes and certain spot details. It was a little out-of-place in Neko the Kitty, but it's a good striking look that would probably fit your story pretty well.

Hey Gar...

Thanks, thats a pretty cool idea...  :)
I could do that on maybe some dramatical scenes I would like to emphasize on...or shock panels and the such ......
I will probably test this out!
