Hi All
I represent several webcomic creators and wanted to see if we could get some initiatives started for cross promotion.

With everyone's finances as they are, advertising can be very costly. With the exception of Paradigm Shift, many of my clients haven't been doing webcomics for too long and could truly benefit from some cross-promotion. One way that could happen is through banner swaps.

What kind of initiatives are you proposing?
I know you are talking about bannerswaps, and I'm sure we could all benefit from more legitimate linkage. But I understand you are promoting those specific comics, what benefit do other creators get from the exchange?
Are we talking strait up banner for banner, HTML links on links pages? some kind of actual rotating banner script/swap with some kind of credit system? I'm just wondering what exactly sort of exchange you are looking for.
I'm also curious if you plan to match comics of similar genres in the exchange, or if you are looking for something more general?

We have some other ideas but we are starting with simple banner swaps. It is exactly how it sounds...a creator sends a banner and my clients do the same. It is free advertising. That's the benefit for everyone.
