Title: East Coast conventions?
Post by: Richard on August 15, 2010, 08:20:43 PM
Heya,

Just checking out with any creators out there about conventions on the East Coast that are webcomic friendly. I already have NYCC booked for this October, but I'm looking for more places that would be good to showcase our wares.

Anyone have any good suggestions or experiences at conventions in this area that would like to share?

There was one I've been told was decent in New Haven a couple months ago (and I'm told Wizard bought it and it's going to be even bigger next year). And then there's the Webcomics Weekend thing that Topatoco and crew do in Massachusetts.

But generally when I'm looking for Cons I check out our calender here:

It lists almost all the conventions. It's a pretty thorough.

Thanks for pointing out the calendar, Rob. Do you know the name of that convention wizard bought?

I was also looking for personal words of wisdom or experience about conventions here on the East Coast, even if its just saying which ones are good, bad, and the ugly.

All I remember is that it was in New Haven in May or June. Sorry I can't remember more.  :-\
