Hello everyone, I am Kopassu and I like to draw. I have been drawing since I was a little kid and I want to make a career out of it. Currently I do freelance design and illustration in Chicago but it basically means I'm unemployed. I want to get into making webcomics, I have a bevy of ideas and I've made some in the past but never any to an audience on a schedule. I've also drawn editorial comics for (college) newspapers and made a few tshirts.
I have loved art ever since I was a small child. My first memory is watching my father draw. He was extremely into modern psychedelic works and industrial illustration in the 1970's and 80's so I grew up around a lot Syd Mead books, HR Giger books, Fangoria and Heavy Metal magazines. I got really into comics as a kid also and loved mainstream books for a long time. After I left for school I started to get into artists on my own like Alphonse Mucha, Charles Gibson, and Andrew Loomis to name a scant few. I've lost the path of comics lately though and am trying to get back on which is why I am here. That's about all for me!
