Title: Bill Watterson Interview (Creator of Calvin and Hobbes)
Post by: Rob on February 01, 2010, 10:29:57 PM
It's short but it's sweet and he really kicks print in the butt there while he's at it.

I don't know about you guys but I love me some Calvin and Hobbes.

Here is the interview. (http://www.cleveland.com/living/index.ssf/2010/02/bill_watterson_creator_of_belo.html)

Watterson is such an enigma.

I rather wonder (pity they don't ask) what's he's been DOING these past 15 years. Watching cartoons?

I really respect him for ending his comic rather than having it turn into the same old tedium that many newspaper comics are now.

That, and I always loved his comic. Still one of my favorites.

I picked up the big three-volume complete Calvin and Hobbes a while ago. Really nice edition for an awesome comic. It's a shame Calvin is mostly seen pissing on things these days rather than doing anything savvy or creative.
