Title: JW Blake
Post by: jwblake on June 08, 2010, 08:52:46 PM
Greetings, all,

I am the father of JW Blake.  JW creates two monthly webcomics, Assimilates, published on the fifteenth of the month, and Amazing Adventures, published on the first of the month.  I run the website for him, so he has time to do more important stuff.  Please check out the comics, and let him know what you think.

Kind regards,

JW's Dad and biggest fan

I don't think we've ever had a manager come sign up here. Cool. Welcome!

Well, someone who is strictly a manager. We're all managers in a way.

A manager.....   I kinda like that.  Actually, though, I just want to get a clue, as a father, to the scene online, and save JW a ton of time by doing the promotional part for him.  I'm really only managing in the "even-a-blind-squirrel-finds-a-nut" sense.

Its nice to be elevated, though.  Thanks.

JW is a lucky dude and I hope he knows it! My parents are at best ambivalent about my comic work, and often downright refuse to even discuss it. I get a lot of "Oh that's nice." lol

My Dad says my comic's Really Weird. You can actually hear the capital letters.

long time no chat....

This is JW's Dad, busily protecting him from all of you heathens, and protecting myself from the wrath of his mother, but i digress.  Issue 18 of Assimialtes is up and running, as are more sketches.  I think the storytelling is getting better, but I can't put my finger on what it is that he's doing.  I welcome any words you can put into my mouth.

Thanks,

I think he's writing a vampire vs werewolf war story thing which is and has been pretty popular for the last five to ten years.

Hopefully he will find something new and interesting to say about the genre.

Good luck.  ;D
