I'm coming to the end of act 1 in my major storylines next week, and it occurs to me that that a good time for an intermission, so if anyone wants to do a guest comic for Neko the Kitty then crosspromotional goodness would be much appreciated :)
If we do get it done.... and I'll keep you in the loop as much as I can about how it's going... we'll probably be coming in right around the deadline, sliding into home at the last second there.... so ... FYI I guess.
I can't make any promises right now. What's the time frame like? I've got an idea of introducing Ash to your cat's (which will probably scare the shit out of them) which I think would be amusing but we're pretty nuts right now trying to fill our depleted buffer back up and launching two new comics.
There's also the prep for Friday. Let me know the drop dead deadline for this and I'll see what I can do. Also, posting the specs might help too (pixel size... height, width.... DPI, Color format... CMYK or RGB... you know).

I really like your comic, so I would love to do a guest strip (or two). Like Rob said, what are the details (especially the deadline that you want them).
Curtain dropped on the McJefferstein Hypercrimes Saga yesterday, so I'm looking to run the intermission in about two weeks. I run Thursday and Tuesday (tuesday is part 2 of thursday's strip, thursday's the next storyline in the rotation), so I'll be capping off the Neko storyline next tuesday and the Mystery Gang storyline the tuesday after that. So two weeks from Thursday is the deadline.
Please send guest strips as .jpeg images no wider than 720 pixels. Height doesn't matter and you can colour them whatever way you want, I ain't fancy.
Just want to remind people that I'll be running the intermission starting next Thursday, so there's about ten days left if you want to send me a guest comic.

Remie, I can link to you when you get your site up and running if you want to do a comic for me anyway. Editing the archive page so there's a link under your comic is pretty easy to do, and I'll put a link up on the front page when you've got a few pages in the archive so you don't miss out on the front page linky goodness when there's some content on your site.

I talked to Corey and we're going to try. He said if I get him a script by Monday then it's do-able if the flood waters don't rise and the pigs don't fly... or something equally midwestern.

Corey finished ours tonight. I wrote a way too long script that he liked a little too much and decided to make the whole thing.... so now you have one very long (and in my opinion) very long guest comic. You may commence kissing our proverbial bean bags... LOL.
All kidding aside I hope you like it man. I think it really came out well.
I think it's a real shame your main site is all FUBAR-ed during this. I hope you get that resolved soon. Hard to believe such a sparse and spartan site could have such major problems.
When you're done posting the comics I think you should repost them here so everyone can see them all together. Just a suggestion.

Yeah, it's a shame about the main site. I'm actually preferring the functionality of the SmackJeeves mirror though. I like the comments box, easy Alt text and automatic integrated RSS feed, it's just a shame I can't upload my own buttons and wallpaper. I should probably just set up a redirect script and copy my Project Wonderful ad code over, at least until nekothekitty.net is fixed. See if I can find a friendly codemonkey to help me redesign my own site (which has been needed for a while, but I'm terrible at coding)

well once I get my own site fixed everything's going up on there with the correct date stamp, and then I'm just going to keep both sites going simultaneously, so yes, all the guest strips will be integrated into the archive at nekothekitty.net with links under the comics, and then on the next new Neko comic after the archive segment has been restored I'll link you all from the front page in the blog so you don't lose out on the frontpage link. (actually thinking about it, it's better if the links are time-released; just do the one link per blog post over the next however-many new NtK comics rather than a block of links)

I also got access to my nekothekitty.net root directories back when the site was fixed, so I'm using the time to do a bit of tidying up on the site. It's all going to be basic HTML because I suck at computers, but I've put in a new titlecard and wallpaper, I'm going to redesign to navigation buttons, and I've pencils done for some new images for the cast page (which has been in need of updating for quite some time)
I decided to live dangerously and go with the daily updates for guest week, but the Tuesday and Thursday slots are still open if anyone else has time to send me a guest strip.
Rob, your strip's up now. I linked both Remedial Comics and Remedy, and the banner leads directly into Remedy so people will get to a comic straight away :)
