Title: Keno Cooper and the Fly
Post by: Gar on November 22, 2010, 07:25:19 AM
It was my niece's second birthday over the weekend, so I did up a little children's book for her featuring the Keno character from my comic. It's spread across five comic pages (although if I publish it I'll probably break it down to 20 pages with one image per page) and the first page is here (http://nekothekitty.smackjeeves.com/comics/1041066/keno-cooper-and-the-fly-page-1/)

I read the whole thing and it's great. You should make a coloring bo... sorry... forgot who I was talking to... colouring book with slightly more elaborate drawings and sell it at conventions. The papercraft thing we did for Ash the cat has been hugely popular and our comic isn't for kids either.  ;)

Hey, that's really good. It would make a great childrens book.

Thanks! Reader response has been really positive, so I'm going to try to come up with another poem to do in time for Christmas. I have a cute simple story idea, so I just have to get it to rhyme.

I was going for simplicity with the visuals for this one, but the christmas one's going to have Alice and Santa Claus in it so it'll be a bit more elaborate. Having it as a colou...coloring book is a really good idea, thanks Rob.
