It's not bad. I actually think the way you had it before had a bit more character. It's a bit cluttered on the bottom. And it looks a little generic now. But it more than get's the job done. It presents well and it navigates well and those are the important parts. And this is after all just one dude's opinion.

I have to agree with Rob. It feels stark and generic.
Black isn't really a good background color anymore.

Just Joking ;D...actually the first version was my very first ever created website it took me loads of time to create and understand so I really wasn't all that loving towards it and when the dude gave me his input I instantly said I am going to redo this thing.
So there, I think I will stick around with it for a while and obviously update it slowly this time but the general feeling I get is I focus on my art and now try to improve on that.
Maybe I will spend a buck or two for somebody get it polished for me. 8)
