Pimp Your Comic / Re: You Complete Me
Last post by DaveFromWhateversauce.com - February 22, 2017, 11:17:45 PM
I really liked this. First, the artwork was awesome. Next, you managed to draw me into the story really quickly. Finally, I felt like the end was almost a double-twist. I don't have anything to criticize, I just wanted to say that I really liked it!

Pimp Your Comic / New(ish) website Whateversauce...
Last post by DaveFromWhateversauce.com - February 22, 2017, 11:07:50 PM
Hello fellow creators,

My name is Dave Collins and I run the website Whateversauce.com. As you can see from the title, my pages updates three times a week and I have three different features. Two are regular webcomics and the other changes every week depending on my mood - that is whatever Monday. I tried to include an image of my latest comic, Bourgeois Bear Explains the Class War #11 but it is larger than the 128KB limit, so all I can do is post a link to the website where you can find all the comics. whateversauce.com/comics

I know I am not the greatest artist in the world, but I am looking forward to any advice and feedback you have to offer.

Thanks in advance!

Dave

Pimp Your Comic / The Ink Mines
Last post by Theinkmines - February 12, 2017, 10:23:01 AM
Hello everyone,

We are a team of three people based in India,
Hirek Shah, the "Innocent" Artist
Trupti Gupta, the "Fiery" Artist
Subhayan Roy, the "Lazy" Writer

We always wanted to make our own comics and here we are.

The Ink Mines is a compilation of all our crazy ideas, originating from drinking too much coffee, lack of sleep and also bits and pieces from our own life story. Currently, we have 2 running comics, "The How to be" series and the "Art Woes" series...

Here is the link to our website:
http://www.theinkmines.com/

The "How to be" series is a funny comic based on the life of 5 people and how they deal with various situations such as relationships, employment, etc.

The Art Woes series is about a professional artist in India and how he goes through his career.

Thanks for reading this. Hope you like our work. Feel free to leave comments and feedbacks.

Pimp Your Comic / Pacifica
Last post by Tait - February 10, 2017, 09:53:47 PM
Hello, everyone!

I create the fantasy adventure comic Pacifica!

It currently follows a young man named Gavin who becomes frustrated with his life in the small town Nook. He leaves to find a new direction for his life and soon encounters wanderers with similar goals. The comic will eventually focus on their travels as a group.

The fantasy world of the comic is loosely inspired by the Pacific northwest region of the US. I'm hoping to create a world that has its own distinct character.

The comic is still early on, but I'm trying to improve all aspects of it as I go. I'd love to get feedback, so please check it out!

Pimp Your Comic / "The Amazing Cartoons"
Last post by Jonnydark - January 18, 2017, 08:32:43 PM
Hi Webcomics Community!

After refining the story for over a year I've finally finished the script to my comic "The Amazing Cartoons" and I'm starting the epic job of making it REAL.

After reading the book "The Secrets of Story" by Matt Bird I knew I had the ingredients for a great story.

If anyone wants to give me tips (Since I'm pretty new to webcomics) I'd love to here them!

Anyway, here is the link:

Thanks!

I really like this! The strip about the loan made me laugh. :)

Your style is like nothing else I've seen on the web, which is awesome. Great job on the colour especially, I suck at that.
