Hello, my name is James Israelson. I am currently writing a Metal Gear Solid fan comic called Metal Gear Solid: Ghosts you can find it now on Tapastic.com: http://tapastic.com/series/Metal-Gear-Solid-Ghosts
The art is be done by Bagus Hutomo (his works include: Hawken: Genesis, Radical Publishing's Shrapnel: Aristeia Rising, Heavy Metal Magazine, The Darkness, and much more).

The story takes place 12 years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 4. The world has fallen into the hands of a powerful terrorist group known as The Mantis Corp, lead by someone claiming to be Psycho Mantis. The only one that can save the world is the legendary hero, Solid Snake, long since believed to be dead.

An example of the art style:

The most exciting thing about this project is looking at the world and characters from the Metal Gear Solid universe from twelve years in the future. This a fan made project made purely out of the love of the greatest game series of all time. Also, the lack of good Metal Gear Solid comics is overwhelming. The adaptations of the games hardly do the games justice. But starting with a fresh story and new perspective, we hope to show how lush and full of potential Metal Gear Solid comics can be. As of right now, the Metal Gear Solid: Ghost prelude, which focuses of how Solid Snake is still alive twelve years after given a death sentence, is being made and you can follow the progress of it on the official facebook page, Patreon page, as well as Tapastic.com itself:
