With links to both of my sites. In haiku form, no less  :)

I'm not near the top of the post, but it's nice to get referred

Congrats, Gar!

It's not bad at all to not be at the top of the post. Could be worse, your link could be hidden in the letters "inc" in the very last line of the post like mine is. :-)

Gar

Oh I'm not complaining, I feel all successful  ;D

Good luck on Oxicomics Largent, that's a nice additional distribution channel!

I don't even have a webcomic and I've been mentioned on Fleen.

Is that the proper use of that Gar?

Thanks, Gar! We'll see how it goes. It's very cool just seeing the icons on my iPhone. :-) Oxicomics did a really great job with the panel-to-panel navigation. Some friends are supposed to be over this weekend who have iPads. I'm very curious to see how they read on the bigger screen.

Rob

Mark can you tell us anything about Oxicomics?

Largento

I don't know that I particularly know anything more than what's out there, but I can try to answer any questions you've got.

Oxicomics creates iPad / iPhone apps that allow you to read comics on your iPhone. All of his apps are free this weekend, so check them out to see how they work. The application allows you to navigate through a comic following a path that simulates reading the comic. Alternately, you can view full pages (better for the large iPad, obviously.) The guy doing it is really friendly and is working hard to make something of it.

Rob

Ok but how do you get your comic included if that's something he does?

Largento

Rob, just contact Morten on his company page and tell him you would like to talk to him about publishing your book as an app. I know he's doing a show this weekend in Europe, so he might not be able to get back to you right away, but I've always found him to be very quick about responding to questions I've had. He did mention that he's going to be attending the NYCC this year, too.

Hehe, sorry. Don't get me wrong though, it's great to be mentioned on Fleen. I was SUPER excited when it happened.

Back to this well after it was originally posted, but that's actually not the correct use, so if you're ever doing a British or Irish character it's "Taking the piss" when it's clear who's being talked about or "taking the piss out of xxxx" when it's not. "Taking the piss out" makes about as much sense, but it isn't the phrase.
